About Me

Welcome to my online store! My name is Emily Kenyon, owner of What’s for Tea? and I'm so thrilled to have you here. As a proud graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, my journey in the culinary world has been nothing short of transformative. As a child growing up in an ingredient household, my strong sweet tooth led me to the strongest passion I have had; beautiful, but delicious creations.

My journey in experimenting with recipes developed as I saw wonderful pastry or cake items, but upon tasting them discovered they were often bland or days old. There was a delight of transforming simple ingredients into something beautiful, and yet full of flavor. As I have continued to grow, I have discovered that while it is certainly no small feat, it is always a worthy one.

There will always be the purest and simplest joy in seeing someone smile at a freshly baked pastry. And that is why I continue.
